Elmwood Thermal Fuses manufactured by HOSHO provide a cost-effective alternative to resettable thermal controls. Thermal fuses function when the operating or ambient temperature rises above a pre-set level. At that point the organic pellet melts causing the barrel spring to expand separating the electrical contacts and opens the circuit.
